About the Instructor
My name is Bailey Jongejeugd, and I recently graduated from the University of Sioux Falls with a degree in Art Education. I student-taught in the Harrisburg School District and worked at Color Me Mine and the Washington Pavilion’s Action Art and Science program. I’m passionate about teaching art in creative, hands-on ways. I plan to introduce students to nontraditional art-making through multimedia projects, like creating stickers or designing clothes. I also want to explore art history by recreating techniques from different eras. My goal is to inspire students to experiment, express themselves, and see art in new ways.
