About the Class -
The Colors of Taylor Swift: Painting Your Own Era
For Students Entering Grades 3 - 5
Taylor Swift’s music is filled with vivid colors—from the golden glow of Fearless to the deep reds of Red and the moody grays of Folklore. In this art class, students will explore how Taylor uses color in her lyrics and albums to create emotion, tell stories, and bring her music to life. Through painting, drawing, and mixed media, we’ll experiment with color symbolism, mood, and visual storytelling inspired by her songs and eras. For the final project, each student will create a personal artwork inspired by their own “Era”—a piece that expresses their unique style, emotions, or a moment they want to share through color and imagery. Artists will use color and creativity to design an artwork that represents their own artistic journey. 🎨✨(Non-Swifties are welcome)
