Stitch & Weave: A Creative Sewing & Weaving Camp
For Students Entering Grades 3-5
Get ready to explore the wonderful world of sewing and weaving in this fun, hands-on 4-day art camp for elementary students grades 3-5! Over the course of four days, artists will learn the basics of these two exciting crafts, developing new skills while creating beautiful, colorful projects they can be proud of. Each day, students will dive into a different technique, learning to sew by hand, weave with yarn, and explore fabric art. With a focus on creativity and self-expression, students will use their new skills to make personal projects like mini pillows, sewn stuffies, small bags, and woven wall hangings. No prior sewing or weaving experience is required—just bring your imagination and excitement for crafting! At the end of the camp, each student will leave with a collection of their handmade projects, as well as the confidence to continue sewing and weaving at home. This camp is a perfect opportunity to explore the tactile and creative joys of working with fabric, yarn, and thread, all while building fine motor skills and fostering artistic expression.
