About the Class
This course is a chance for incoming 3rd-5th graders to explore abstract painting, and many different materials. Students will be inspired by modern and classical artists to make their own abstract artworks. They will learn about mood and emotion, and how to share their own stories through abstract art.About the Instructor
Jayme Wiertzma is a certified art teacher at Explorer Elementary. This is her 6th year teaching art in the district. In Jayme's spare time she creates art and enjoys teaching adult painting classes.Event Dates
